Co-creating with Matthias Weigold who collects findings in the environment he happens to be : metal scraps, wooden pieces, bones… anything that tells the story of a place. The island of Lesvos offers rough items in its landscape of abandoned houses and fields.
Lots of drift woods composes the sea shore and are perfect base for Katell’s micro collages.
Adding a golden leaf (the local bakery chocolat wrap..) and using the old prints of zoology book gave the rought drift wood some finness and beauty.
