I have known this graveyard in rural Ukraine , in the village of Korotych for 18 years. This year, to my stupor, I discovered the change in habits: more and more plastic flowers (cheaply made in China) adorn the graves and are disposed off as soon as they start loosing their bright colors; as a result, the allées of the graveyard become wild dump side, open to the winds, the birds and the dogs. They take care of spreading the liter far from the graveyard and contribute to increase plastic pieces in the environment. What about using real planted flowers as an alternative ?
